North Korea warns U.S. not to interfere in growing spat with South

DPRK foreign ministry official says U.S. could face “horrible” consequences should it meddle in inter-Korean relations

A top North Korean foreign ministry official on Thursday suggested the U.S. will face “horrible” consequences if it does not stay out of growing inter-Korean tensions.

The statement from director general of the Department of U.S. Affairs Kwon Jong Gun, released via the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), said the U.S. should instead address its own domestic political situation.
