Pyongyang to send tourist electric carts to delayed Wonsan-Kalma resort

New vehicles reportedly domestically produced, following North Korean leader's recent appearances using Chinese models

North Korean state media this week promoted dozens of themed sightseeing electric carts to be sent to the Wonsan-Kalma tourist resort, now around one month after the original deadline for the project set by leader Kim Jong Un.

The “new-type tourist battery cars” are claimed to have been domestically designed and manufactured as a "precious fruition of self-reliance" by workers fulfilling the demands of the ruling party.
