Third DPRK-Russia talks this week may mark return to normal diplomatic activity amid COVID-19 pandemic

North Korea's ambassador in Moscow held a phone conversation with a top Russian diplomat on Wednesday, amid an uptick in diplomacy between the two countries following months of coronavirus-related silence.

The DPRK ambassador, Sin Hong Chol, spoke with the Russian deputy minister of foreign affairs, Igor Morgulov, a readout of the call posted on the website of Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said.
