North Korea hails successful test of “tactical guided weapon” on Saturday

DPRK leader orders military to "further build up" strike capabilities following likely KN-24 test

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un yesterday observed a successful test of a "demonstration fire of tactical guided weapon," the country's ruling party daily the Rodong Sinmun and Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Sunday.

In the second high-profile military exercise by the North Korean military in as many days, DPRK state media said yesterday's test "clearly proved the characters of different flight trajectories and falling angles, the accuracy of guided shells and their power."
