Venezuela’s President Maduro confirms plans to visit Pyongyang “soon”

Two countries also reported to have signed tech, industrial, military agreements

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro late Wednesday said that he plans to visit the North Korean capital “soon,” confirming an earlier statement by one of his top deputies.

Diosdado Cabello, president of the country’s National Constituent Assembly (ANC), said to Maduro over the phone on his television program Con el Mazo Dando that the DPRK “reiterates its invitation to you” to visit Pyongyang.
