UNSC to hold second closed-door meeting this month on N. Korean missile tests

U.S. not promoting meeting in order to keep talks with DPRK on track, sources say

The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will convene a closed-door meeting on Tuesday in New York to discuss North Korea’s recent missile tests, sources told NK News.

It will be the second such meeting this month following one held on August 1 at the request of Britain, France, and Germany to discuss how the tests may have violated sanctions resolutions.
