For the second time in a week, North Korean and Russian officials are meeting to discuss boosting cooperation, this time with a DPRK Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) delegation holding talks with local leadership in Vladivostok.

People-to-people exchanges were the key item on the agenda for a meeting on Tuesday between the two sides, the Primorye administration’s official website reported.

Primorye vice-governor Vera Shcherbina, who led the talks for the Russian side, reportedly said there was “still room for developing … humanitarian ties between our regions,” with the report listing possible areas such as tourism, culture, sports, and education.
