Speculation mounts that Vladivostok university to host Kim-Putin summit this week

Far Eastern Federal University may be ideal location due to seclusion, high-profile ties

Security has been stepped up at the likely location in Vladivostok for this week's first summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, media reported Monday.

Located on Russky Island just off the coast of Vladivostok, the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) has seen rule changes over access to the campus in recent days, according to Russia’s RIA Novosti and Interfax News Agency.
