Trump offers DPRK economic “help” after receiving “great letter” from Kim Jong Un

Next U.S.-North Korea summit yet to be organized, U.S. President tells cabinet meeting

U.S. President Donald Trump said in a cabinet meeting Wednesday he had newly received a “great letter” from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, offering to help with that country’s economic development if the two are able to make a deal.

“I just got a great letter from Kim Jong Un,” Trump declared at the end of prepared remarks to begin the meeting, briefly flashing a piece of paper, possibly the letter itself, to reporters.
