North Korean media condemns “dimwit” UN human rights special rapporteur

Editorial comes a week after visit by Tomás Ojea Quintana to Seoul

North Korean state media on Saturday condemned recent comments made by the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the DPRK, describing him as a "dimwit" and a "fanatic."

The commentary, carried by outer-track outlet Uriminzokkiri, described Tomás Ojea Quintana's recent statements to press as "nothing but a reckless act of an unwelcome guest which pours cold water" on the current state of inter-Korean affairs.
