N. Korea supports Venezuelan President amid U.S. attempts at “coup”: Caracas

DPRK ambassador to Caracas sought "to strengthen the bonds of solidarity" at Tuesday meeting

North Korean ambassador to Venezuela Ri Sung Gil paid a visit to the foreign ministry in Caracas on Tuesday, in a show of support for the country’s embattled President Nicolás Maduro.

According to a report from the Venezuelan foreign ministry, Ri met with Vice Minister for Multilateral Issues Felix Plasencia “to strengthen the bonds of solidarity between the two peoples and to express the support of the [North] Korean government for the Bolivarian Revolution and the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros.”
