Chinese online payment company Alipay is working to block transactions made in North Korea following news of the service’s availability at a casino in Pyongyang earlier this month, a company representative told NK News on Tuesday.

Both Alipay and the Shanghai-based UnionPay, also understood to be available at the casino, are denying support for possible services offered in Pyongyang.

A December-dated image obtained by NK News shows the foreign-backed Pyongyang Casino inside the Yanggakdo Hotel is displaying signs notifying guests that payments through Alipay and UnionPay are available.

“Alipay doesn’t have any commercial
