North Korea to kick off delayed business forum for South Koreans on Thursday

MOU approves 97 to attend event focused on forging business ties with Koreans abroad

North Korea is set to host an international forum for South Korean business people from Thursday through Sunday this week, with the ROK's Ministry of Unification (MOU) announcing late Wednesday it approved 97 individuals to make the trip.

The “2018 Pyongyang Forum of Overseas Korean Entrepreneurs for Peace and Prosperity on the Korean Peninsula” – originally scheduled to take place in mid-October – appears to be primarily targeting South Koreans with business connections in third countries across the world.
