Tillerson: Kim Jong Un’s change in posture was dramatic

Beijing attributes the DPRK's desire for negotiations to "suspension for suspension" proposal

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson on Friday said North Korean leader's Kim Jong Un's change in attitude towards negotiations was dramatic and took Washington partially by surprise.

Speaking at a press conference in Djibouti City during a diplomatic tour in Africa, Tillerson added that Kim had shown a "strong desire" for talks.
