Uganda is further curbing ties with North Korea in compliance with UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions, the country’s government claimed in its latest implementation report.

The report, submitted on January 26, says that the country is severing scientific, technical and military ties with the DPRK.

“The Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration has canceled the entry permits of 9 doctors and 14 air force instructors from North Korea,” the report said, adding that it is awaiting communication to this effect from a variety of departments.

“All defense contracts have been terminated,” it added.
