Kremlin expresses “regret” over new sanctions on N.Korea-linked Russians

Russia says sanctions against allegedly DPRK-supporting companies will hurt bilateral ties

A Kremlin spokesmen on Friday critiqued Thursday's designations by the U.S. Treasury of Russian companies linked to North Korea and warned they will impact bilateral relations, in comments to several Russian government-linked news agencies.

The U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) on Thursday designated three Russian companies – the Independent Petroleum Company (IPC), its subsidiary Primornefteproduct, and Ardis-Bearings LLC – as well as a Russian national Igor Michurin.
