President accused of being “pro-North” over letters to N.Korea

Impeached President wrote to "Dear Chairman" Kim Jong Il in 2005, liberal outlet reveals

South Korea’s ongoing presidential scandal took another strange turn today, with President Park Geun-hye now being accused of being “pro-North” over letters she sent to the North Korean government between 2002 and 2005.

A letter she wrote in 2005 is believed not to have been delivered to the North, the Ministry of Unification (MoU) said on Wednesday. However, local media soon released more writing from Pyongyang to Park and the letters she wrote in return.
