Japan calls N.Korea’s missile launch ‘unacceptable’

Tokyo may hesitate to sanction third parties, which would create conflict with China

The Japanese government condemned North Korea's missile launch Sunday morning and called for neighboring countries to coordinate for international peace.

Japan's Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga told reporters on Sunday that North Korea's rocket launch is "unacceptable" in that the provocation threatens Japan's and international society's peace and security.
