U.S. flies B-52 bomber in response to N. Korean nuke test

Dispatching of strategic bomber a show of force, resolve by U.S., South Korea

The United States Air Force flew a B-52 Stratofortress over South Korea Sunday in response to North Korea’s recent nuclear test, the U.S. Pacific Command Public Affairs office reported.

A B-52 strategic bomber from Anderson Air Force Base in Guam conducted a low-level flight over South Korea as part of the American and South Korean response to North Korea conducting its fourth nuclear detonation test on Wednesday.
