N. Korea signalled nuclear fusion tech last year

Comments made in interview with the U.S. based Minjok Tongshin

North Korean scientists said the country was developing nuclear fusion technologies in April and May last year, via Korean American media outlet Minjok Tongshin.

“A nuclear power plant based on nuclear fusion technology is under construction,” a North Korean scientists who graduated Kim Chaek College of Engineering told Roh Gil-nam, the outlet's editor. Roh conducted the interview in Shenyang, claiming the scientist was returning to Pyongyang at the time.
