N.Korea confirms May date for party congress

North Korean media outlet the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) confirmed that the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea will take place in May, as originally scheduled.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's remark, which had been misinterpreted by the South Korean media, was clarified late in the afternoon on Wednesday.
