Hospital tells NK News it transferred Korean-American patient who suffered stroke in Rason SEZ

A 63-year-old Korean-American man was recently evacuated from North Korea's Rason Special Economic Zone after suffering a stroke there, NK News has learned.

Leaving through the Tumangang-Khasan border crossing, the man – whose name medical sources did not divulge – continued to the Khasan Central Regional Hospital in the Russian port town of Slavyanka, where he was admitted to the hospital’s reanimation department in late October.
