North Korea has manufactured new small scale wind turbines which produce between 100 and 300 watts of power, according to a recent article in DPRK news outlet the Pyongyang Times.
The newly developed turbine is supposedly for use on public buildings and balconies of multi-story flats.
“Its utilization rate of wind is over two times as high as that of the three-bladed turbine, so it can be set up everywhere—both seaside and inland where the wind blows above two metres per second,” the article reads.
