A long-haul charter flight from eastern Europe to North Korea – the first of its kind in decades – has been scheduled for 2016, a British travel agency announced on Wednesday.
The round-trip service, between Minsk airport in Belarus to Sunan international in North Korea, will take place in May 2016, flown by Belarusian national airline Belavia.
The flights, aboard a vintage Tupolev Tu-154, have been chartered by North Korea aviation tour specialists Juche Travel Services, in conjunction with Belarusian tour agency Merlin Tours.
