North Korea unveils video footage of SLBM launch

Video inconsistent, likely edited with borrowed launch footage

Update 5/28/2015: Analyst Dave Schmerler noted Wednesday that the first 10 second portion of the launch footage matches footage of a U.S. Trident I SLBM launch. At least this portion is confirmed to be borrowed footage. The authenticity of the second portion of the footage remains unverified.

North Korean state media outlet Uriminzokkiri released a video on Tuesday showing footage of the launch of a submarine-launched ballistic missile.
