North Korean news outlet the Pyongyang Times this week announced the completion of a power plant in Ryanggang province in the country’s north-east region.

According to the article, the power plant’s construction was completed by a local mining organisation.

“The Ryanggang Provincial Mining Complex has completed the construction of power station No. 4 on the Unchong River, which has huge water volume and is unaffected by seasonal influence, and started its operation”, the article reads.
