Court ruling calls government intervention in balloon launches legal in certain circumstances

South Korean unification ministry spokesman Lim Byeong Cheol has responded to a Tuesday court ruling which said that it was legal for the South Korean government to restrict the actions of anti-North Korea leaflet campaigners in certain circumstances.

The Uijeongbu District Court district court, located to the north of Seoul ruled that South Korean authorities could intervene should the campaigners’ actions endanger the lives of people living in the surrounding area.
