North Korea on Monday denounced the signing of an intelligence sharing Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) between South Korea and Japan, with the U.S. acting as an intermediary.

The MoU will allow the two countries to share information and military secrets on North Korea’s missile and nuclear weapons programs.

North Korean propaganda website Uriminzokkiri lashed out at the agreement, saying that the risk of nuclear war in Asia had become “more real”. The article also blamed the U.S. for MoU, calling it an attempt to create a U.S. military coalition presence.

“Recently, the United States has been pursuing the strategy of ‘Rebalance
