North Korea blames South Korea for creating a ‘hostile environment’

High-level talks between North and South Korea are unlikely to happen as planned if South Korea continues to “taint the atmosphere of dialogue” with false accusations, North Korea warned through state media on Tuesday.

Although the North still has made no official response to Seoul’s proposal of talks next Thursday, it has made numerous implications of thwarting dialogue plans altogether, claiming that South Korea has created a “hostile environment” through its “unguarded treatment” of relations.
