LiNK helped 85 N. Koreans migrate, prioritized awareness raising in 2013 – report

With record assistance for refugees, priority remains "changing the narrative" on North Korea

Liberty in North Korea (LiNK) helped 85 North Korean refugees escape and raised a record $1.5 million while continuing to prioritize awareness-raising activities in 2013, an annual report post in late August on the non-profit's website said.

Using 31 percent of its largest-ever annual budget, the report said that the California-based LiNK organization funded the safe migration of 85 North Koreans from China to third countries and helped resettle an additional 79 refugees in 2013.
