A South Korean activist group dismissed Pyongyang’s threats, launched balloons carrying anti-DPRK leaflets into the North on Sunday, and now North Korea claims they may damage inter-Korean relations.

About 10 members from Fighters for a Free North Korea, a Seoul-based human rights group led by defectors, gathered in Paju, just south of the 38th parallel, to release 10 balloons carrying 200,000 leaflets.

North Korea, via its official Naenara site, has heavily criticized the “smear campaign” of “balloon operations,” pressuring the South Korean government to cease what they call “the most blatant psychological warfare.”
