The BBC’s Editorial Standards Committee (ESC) has concluded that last year’s Panorama documentary "Undercover in North Korea" breached a number of the BBC’s editorial guidelines, in a 42 page report published on Monday.
In its findings, the ESC notes that "the BBC failed to consider a number of important issues and risks, and failed to deal with them appropriately". The report also specified that "the provision of information to the students who took part in the trip was insufficient and inadequate".
