North Korea extends range of KN01 anti-ship missile – media
Range extension indicates possible improvements in DPRK turbojet capacities, expert says
North Korea has developed an updated version of the KN-01 Missile with a range of 180~300km, an unnamed government source told South Korean daily Chosun Ilbo on Friday.
The range of the anti-ship KN-01 Missile was originally thought to be up to 160km, but the source said that it had been extended by improving the Chinese Silkworm Anti-Ship Missile with a further range of 85~100km.
