North Korean scientists move into grand-scale residential complex

Scientific community rewarded with modern apartment complex in Pyongyang

SEOUL - The official opening ceremony of a new housing complex built for North Korea's elite scientists was held in Pyongyang on Wednesday, state media outlet the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) said.

The Unha residential complex, also known as the Unha Scientists Street, was constructed for the purpose of housing North Korea’s elite scientists and technicians and their families, KCNA reported Wednesday.
