North Korea enacts economic development laws

"The state shall provide investors with conditions for preferential economic activities regarding the use of land, employment of labor, payment of taxes"

LONDON - North Korea has passed a law on setting up more economic development zones, state media outlet the Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) announced on Wednesday.

The May 29 law could lead to the development of new special economic zones across North Korea, designed to attract foreign investement in a variety of industrial sectors.
