Outbreak of avian influence in SE China prompts suspension of tours from Shanghai

LONDON - Flights from Shanghai to North Korea has been suspended by the North Korean authorities after news of an H5N1 strain epidemic of avian influenza emerged in local Chinese press.

All residents of Shanghai and the surrounding area have also been barred from visiting North Korea as a preventative measure.
