News Prankster appears to hack voicemail of North Korea’s UN mission to mock countryCalls to listed number for New York office direct to profane recording that ridicules food shortages
An unknown prankster appears to have hacked the voicemail of the North Korean mission to the U.N., NK News has confirmed, recording a profane greeting that mocks the country and its persistent food shortages. CNN was first to report on the satirical message that plays after calling the phone number of the DPRK’s diplomatic office, which is listed in the U.N.’s directory. The office is located in a Manhattan building near the U.N. headquarters. The voicemail features a high-pitched voice mocking an Asian accent, which starts with an expletive and then refers to North Korean people as “garbage.” After © Korea Risk Group.
