North Korea’s economic growth topped 3% for a third consecutive year in 2025, South Korea’s central bank announced Friday, despite a slight slowdown compared to the previous year when the growth rate hit an eight-year high. North Korea’s real gross domestic product (GDP) reached 38.26 trillion won last year, growing 3.5% from 2024, when it stood at 36.97 trillion won, the Bank of Korea (BOK) said in a new report.
