South Korean prosecutors have indicted three civilians for their alleged roles in sending drones into North Korea in violation of ROK law. 

“Three individuals affiliated with a drone manufacturing and sales company” have been charged with “general benefiting of the enemy” (일반이적죄) and violating the Aviation Safety Act (항공안전법), the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office confirmed to NK News on Wednesday. 

The charges under Article 99 of the Criminal Act allege they harmed South Korea’s military interests, an offense regardless of whether they coordinated their actions with an adversary.
