Photos suggest the new Indonesian ambassador to North Korea still has not taken up his post in Pyongyang, two months after his appointment.

Indonesia’s president appointed Gina Yoginda, a former army major general, as the ambassador to the DPRK in December, some five months after local media reported on his expected nomination.

Jakarta’s foreign ministry highlighted Gina’s appointment as a sign of Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral communication despite “the geopolitical complexity of the East Asia region.”
