North Korea launched over 300 “filth balloons” for the second straight day on Sunday, South Korea’s military has announced, hours after Seoul resumed long-suspended propaganda broadcasts near the inter-Korean border.

The ROK’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said in a press release late on Sunday that the balloons were moving from the northern part of Gyeonggi Province toward the east.

During a defense ministry briefing on Monday morning, a JCS official stated that the military observed North Korea floating some 310 balloons.
