Photos show North Korea’s progress in clearing inter-Korean liaison office

Symbol of cooperation that DPRK blew up in 2020 was still standing last August, but only parts of structure now remain

Photos taken from near the Demilitarized Zone this week confirm that North Korea has cleared remnants of the inter-Korean liaison office it blew up four years ago, though some parts of the structure may still remain.

Images captured at the Dora Observatory in Paju, north of Seoul, and obtained by NK News show that the liaison office building was still standing as of last August but that much of the structure was gone by January. 

However, parts of the structure were visible in January and still appeared to be at the site in the latest photos taken on Thursday, though
