The DPRK reported that it tested 113 people with flu-like illness or severe acute respiratory infections and 565 health care workers from Oct. 8-14, the WHO’s latest situation report states. The screenings bring the total number of people tested in the country using polymerase chain reaction to 42,773, with 85,272 samples collected. North Korea has found no COVID-19 cases after testing an additional 678 people, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), as state media reported on a new, more virulent strain of the coronavirus spreading overseas.

The DPRK reported that it tested 113 people with flu-like illness or severe acute respiratory infections and 565 health care workers from Oct. 8-14, the WHO’s latest situation report states.

The screenings bring the total number of people tested in the country using polymerase chain reaction to 42,773, with 85,272 samples collected.
