After six years of closures, China has finally reopened its remodeled Korean War museum. Four times the size of its original version, the museum is now a likely sign that Pyongyang and Beijing’s relationship is hitting a new high after years of dwindling ties.

Located in the Chinese border city of Dandong, the museum — called the “Memorial of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea” — closed down shortly after Chinese President Xi Jinping made his first state visit to South Korea in 2014.
