Kim Son Gyong will now lead DPRK's relations with Western Europe, NK News understands

North Korea recently appointed a new vice foreign minister, NK News learned on Wednesday, the second confirmed promotion of its kind in recent months and a move that comes amid a broader reshuffle of Pyongyang's diplomatic corps this year.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, an informed source with knowledge of the issue said that Kim Son Gyong -- who previously served as director general at the DPRK foreign ministry's European Affairs Department 2  -- had been promoted to vice foreign minister in the past few months.
