DPRK Special Representative for U.S. Affairs of the State Affairs Commission (SAC) Kim Hyok Chol arrived in Beijing on Tuesday, multiple South Korean outlets reported, in a visit that comes just a week ahead of a planned North Korea-U.S. summit in Hanoi.

The North Korean delegation led by Kim— who serves as direct counterpart of U.S. Special Representative for North Korea at the State Department Stephen Biegun — was spotted at Terminal 2 of Beijing Capital International Airport on Tuesday morning.
