The two Koreas on Friday began general-level military talks at Panmunjom to discuss the implementation of a September inter-Korean military agreement, the South Korean Ministry of National Defense (MND) announced.

The meeting, the third of its kind this year, began at 1000 local time at Tongilgak on the northern side of Panmunjom. 

Speaking at a press briefing before departing for Panmunjom, chief South Korean delegate Kim Do-gyun said both sides planned to make an interim evaluation on the ongoing implementation of the military agreement and to discuss further steps to be taken.
