The two Koreas on Monday morning began a day of high-level talks on the southern side of Panmunjom, in the first meetings of their kind since September’s Pyongyang declaration.

The talks, which began at 1000, will see the two Koreas discuss the implementation of that agreement, as well as other pending issues of concern.

South Korean Minister of Unification Cho Myoung-gyon, who is leading today’s ROK delegation, on Monday said Seoul and Pyongyang planned to discuss steps towards implement the Pyongyang Joint Declaration.
