South Korean President Moon Jae-in will dispatch special envoys to North Korea next Wednesday, the Blue House announced on Friday.

Presidential spokesperson Kim Eui-keum told a press briefing that Seoul had sent a message to Pyongyang proposing sending the special delegation at around 1030 local time.

North Korea reportedly responded on Friday afternoon, saying it would accept the delegation.
