A South Korean delegation will visit the now-shuttered Kaesong Industrial Complex (KIC) tomorrow in preparation for the installation of the inter-Korean liaison office, the Ministry of Unification (MOU) announced on Thursday.

Pyongyang today agreed that a task force team for the establishment of the joint liaison office could visit the KIC and inspect the area, the unification ministry said, following a proposal from Seoul on Tuesday.

Should the visit go ahead, it will be the first by a South Korean delegation to the KIC since the Park Geun-hye administration’s closure of the complex in February 2016.
